Blacksmith-made hinge, 12 inches long with a spade / arrow tip. 3mm thickness,(just under 1/8 inch). Surface mount hinge. Hand made and sturdy, but not engineered to a specific weight - these are not intended for large, heavy doors. Add an authentic rustic element to small doors, cabinets, wood boxes, gates and more with these hand forged hinges. Blacksmith beeswax finish shows off the iron, but is not a permanent protective finish. The hinge can be maintained with a wax or oil finish, or if used in damp areas, it can be allowed to rust for a vintage look.
Features a traditional blacksmith finish that allows the character of the metal to show and allows the metal to rust as desired for a more authentic appearance. If used outside or in damp areas, the item will rust over time. If rust is not desired, the finish can be maintained with a wax or oil, or additional measures may be taken to preserve the appearance.
Phillips head screws included. If you'd like slotted screws for a more traditional look, include a note!
