Hand forged surface mount strap hinges with 5mm (just over 3/16 inch) steel. Blacksmith forged with a beeswax finish for a natural iron look to add character to your rustic gates or doors.  Forged spade tip.  The thicker steel gives them a robust look that adds character and support for cabinets, doors, and other wood projects.  Natural iron finish protected by beeswax for an authentic look that shows the character of the metal. You can maintain with an oil or wax or let them develop a rustic patina or rust over time.  The small leaf is approximately 5 inches x 1-1/8 inches.



Features a traditional blacksmith finish that allows the character of the metal to show and allows the metal to rust as desired for a more authentic appearance. If used outside or in damp areas, the item will rust over time. If rust is not desired, the finish can be maintained with a wax or oil, or additional measures may be taken to preserve the appearance.

Sold individually. Screws included. These hinges are thicker and sturdy, but not engineered to a specific weight - they are not recommended for very heavy doors or very large doors.
