Heavy duty strap hinge, made of hand forged steel, 1/4 inch thick.  Well-crafted, sturdy and refined.  28 inches long with a 4.5"H x 2" leaf and round penny style end.  Barrel is 1 inch wide. Traditional authentic blacksmith wax finish allows the character of the iron to show.  It can be maintained with oil / wax finishes over time, or allowed to rust as desired. Finish can change over time and rust is not covered any warrantee. Use to support beautiful rustic gates, doors, and potentially barn doors.



Features a traditional blacksmith finish that allows the character of the metal to show and allows the metal to rust as desired for a more authentic appearance. If used outside or in damp areas, the item will rust over time. If rust is not desired, the finish can be maintained with a wax or oil, or additional measures may be taken to preserve the appearance.

These are sturdy hinges that will support a variety of doors. However, they are hand made and we do not have an engineered weight limit. The mount point should be considered, and use of three or more hinges may be recommended for your project.
