These surface mount strap hinges are crafted from thicker 3/8 inch forged steel, offering a sturdy and substantial feel. Finished with beeswax, they showcase a natural iron appearance that enhances the charm of cabins, ranches, or rustic homes. You can preserve their look with wax or oil, or let them develop a vintage patina over time. These are made of steel with a robust 5mm thickness and a traditional round penny end tip, Handmade hinges bring authentic character to cabinets and doors.



Features a traditional blacksmith finish that allows the character of the metal to show and allows the metal to rust as desired for a more authentic appearance. If used outside or in damp areas, the item will rust over time. If rust is not desired, the finish can be maintained with a wax or oil, or additional measures may be taken to preserve the appearance.
