These hand forged surface mount strap hinges use 3mm (just under 1/8 inch) steel. Blacksmith forged with a beeswax finish for a natural iron look to add authentic rustic character to your rustic gates or doors.  Forged spade end.  These hinges suit cabinets, small gates, and lighter doors, offering durability with a natural iron finish protected by beeswax. The finish on these hinges is a traditional blacksmith finish that will eventually change over time and/or yield to rust, or you can keep them maintained with wax or oil finishes. 15 inches long overall.  The small leaf is approximately 5-3/8 inches x 1 inch wide.



Features a traditional blacksmith finish that allows the character of the metal to show and allows the metal to rust as desired for a more authentic appearance. If used outside or in damp areas, the item will rust over time. If rust is not desired, the finish can be maintained with a wax or oil, or additional measures may be taken to preserve the appearance.
