Hand forged ring door knocker with a rustic beeswax blacksmith finish that shows the iron's character. Simple traditional look and style. If used in damp areas or outdoors, it will eventually rust as desired, or can be maintained with a wax or oil finish. Ring is a fairly hefty 4-3/4" in diameter. Also may also be used as a gate pull. Nail in striker with hammered top included.
Features a traditional blacksmith finish that allows the character of the metal to show and allows the metal to rust as desired for a more authentic appearance. If used outside or in damp areas, the item will rust over time. If rust is not desired, the finish can be maintained with a wax or oil, or additional measures may be taken to preserve the appearance.
