Turning latch with a beeswax finish for a forged iron look that allows the character of the iron to show.  Use on rustic doors.  Approximately 4 x 8.25 inches.  The main mounting plate is 4 x 6 inches.  If used outdoors or in damp areas, this style with the beeswax will eventually rust.  These can be maintained with a wax or oil finish.  Left-hand, as pictured.  For this latch, when inside a room with a door that pulls open towards you, the hinges are on the right, and the latch is intended to be on the left.  The other side of the door would have the single turning ring.



Features a traditional blacksmith finish that allows the character of the metal to show and allows the metal to rust as desired for a more authentic appearance. If used outside or in damp areas, the item will rust over time. If rust is not desired, the finish can be maintained with a wax or oil, or additional measures may be taken to preserve the appearance.

Excess wax may be present from the finishing process. The wax removes easily and the latch can be maintained with wax and oil finishes.
