Vintage Swiss promotional countryside poster. A vintage Swiss travel poster promoting the Brunig railway, the spectacular mountain route connecting Lucerne and Interlaken through the heart of the Swiss Alps. Opened in the late 19th century, the railway crosses the Brunig Pass and travels through a landscape of Alpine lakes, mountain villages and high peaks. The poster captures the route with a train running along the lakeshore beneath the mountains, framed by a traditional Swiss chalet in the foreground. The historic Brunig route remains in operation today.

Has small tears and minor creasing at the edges. 2 retouched losses at the center and upper left edge, minor tears/creases above - Brunig. This vintage Switzerland travel poster has a great country mountain character - it will look perfect framed in a mountain lodge, cabin or rustic room.
